Job Description
The Solutions Sales Engineer plays a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by supporting sales executives and client account managers in defining and delivering tailored solutions to clients. This position requires a deep understanding of customer requirements, the ability to showcase i2c product capabilities, and the expertise to identify gaps that can be addressed through product enhancements, new developments, or third-party integrations. Combining technical proficiency with strong communication skills, the Sales Engineer helps win new business and foster lasting client relationships.

This is a US based WFH position.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with sales executives to engage new prospects and respond to inbound requests for information/proposals.
- Rapidly understand and articulate the various products and services our company offers.
- Develop solutions for multi-tier business applications based on client needs.
- Prepare and deliver solution concept documents and technical presentations.
- Analyze and document prospect/client business requirements, including functional, usability, and non-functional aspects.
- Assess existing system architectures and recommend solutions to support business objectives.
- Provide bilingual (English/Spanish) technical translation and project management support for implementation teams.
- Conduct standard and customized product demonstrations, including mobile app demos.
- Lead and contribute to technical responses for RFIs/RFPs.
- Assist in proposal development, outlining high-level scopes of work for potential services.
- Deliver competitive analyses, product enhancement strategies, and expectation setting.
- Develop and maintain Client Specification Documents, Solution Concept Documents, and other sales process artifacts.
- Author and review technical notes for prospects and existing customers.
- Communicate challenges and opportunities to Sales Management, Product Management, Marketing, and Solutions teams.
- Create technical architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams, process flows, and integration specifications.
- Facilitate seamless handovers to the Client Implementation Group post-sale.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams to ensure success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- 5-10 years of experience in Sales Engineering within issuer payment processing, fintech, core banking, and payment solutions.
- Strong understanding of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions.
- Expertise in credit, debit, prepaid, and other payment products.
- Knowledge of fraud prevention, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to quickly learn and communicate the company’s full suite of products and services.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
