Principal Web Designer

Job Description

• Design and develop visually appealing, intuitive, and user-centered web interfaces for i2c Inc.'s digital platforms, corporate website, and customer portals.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging landing pages, promotional banners, and interactive content that effectively communicates the company's value proposition.
• Work closely with product managers and UI/UX designers to ensure consistent design language and seamless user journeys across various digital touchpoints.
• Convert design concepts into high-quality HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code, ensuring responsiveness and compatibility across different browsers and devices.
• Optimize web graphics and assets for performance and fast loading times, keeping in mind the importance of user experience and SEO best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design best practices, and emerging web technologies, and incorporate them into your work to enhance the overall user experience.
• Maintain and update existing web content to reflect the latest information, promotions, and company developments.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure the accurate implementation of design elements and troubleshoot any design-related issues.

Requirements:

 

• Proven experience as a web designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and the ability to create modern and responsive web interfaces.
• Awareness of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web technologies.
• Experience with responsive and mobile-first design principles.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, etc.).
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to translate business requirements into compelling visual designs.
• Excellent attention to detail and a passion for creating visually appealing and user-friendly experiences.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with fintech or financial services industry a plus.

We are looking for

• Education: Bachelors degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Interactive Media, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: 5 - 7 years

Skills

• A strong grasp of design fundamentals, including layout, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy, is essential for creating visually appealing and effective web designs.
• Understanding user-centered design, user personas, user flows, wireframing, and prototyping is crucial for crafting intuitive and engaging web experiences.
• Expertise in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma) or other industry-standard design applications.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Awareness of current UI design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in the web design field.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• A keen eye for design, attention to detail, and a great sense of aesthetics. 
• A team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good at time management as well as working & finding answers to questions/problems independently.
• Positive attitude and good learning abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast pace, multi-tasking, and deadline-oriented environment.
