Product Consultant

Job Description

The Global Product Management Team is looking for an individual who wants to help shape the i2c product strategy and support the development and commercialization of i2c’s value proposition. This role will lead product management initiatives to drive enhancement and adoption of the i2c platform with clients and industry partners. This role will also work cross functionally to establish or improve product management practices, streamline project/program management, evaluate new platform features, launch pilots and drive initiatives across multiple internal and external stakeholder groups.

The ideal candidate for this role brings their breadth of knowledge of the payments industry and passion to work in a dynamic and rapidly evolving landscape. Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable execution plans and technical requirements, will be a key requirement of this role.

We are looking for

• Education: Education: at-least Bachelors Degree (16 years of Education) in any of the following fields: Commerce/Business/Finance/Economics/Marketing
• Experience: 5+ years

Skills

The candidate will also bring a mixture of the following skills and experience to this role:

• Understanding of agile product development lifecycles.
• Preferred Product Management experience within the payments industry.
• Has the experience or has the ability to develop a deep understanding and expertise of payment network rules and regulations.
• Ability to lead large initiatives from start to finish across all stakeholders with strong project management practices.
• Ability to effectively influence teams remotely.
• Ability to assess market research and trends and objectively compare i2c product offerings to help build product value propositions.
• Business financial acumen to develop business cases, shape contractual agreements and assess product KPI’s.
• Direct experience working with networks (Visa, Mastercard) and clear understanding of how to navigate through these institutions. Working with fintechs, processors or financial institutions a plus.
• Experience developing go-to-market plans for product launches and the ability to coordinate the development of support collateral from multiple stakeholders.

Technical

• Ability to develop business requirements documents and communicate complex product initiatives to the Solutions and Engineering teams.
• Preferred SME in one of the following product areas: Credit, Debit, Prepaid, Cash Management, Banking, Lending.
• Preferred SME in one or many of the following: processing, mobile payments, digital payments and banking, P2P money movement.

• External-facing role that needs to be able to interface and manage card networks and 3rd party partners effectively.
