Job Description

i2c's legal team is small, collaborative, and growing - and we're looking for the right person to help us build something great. With our role in Legal Operations, Technology & Contract Management, you'll work closely with the General Counsel to manage contracts, improve how legal work gets done, and implement practical tools and processes that support the company as it continues to grow.

 

What You'll Be Doing:

Contracts & Contract Management

  • Administer and continuously improve the contract management system to support contract tracking, visibility, and ease of use across the business
  • Help build and maintain our template library and contract playbooks to enable us to support faster turnaround on routine agreements
  • Own legal intake and triage processes to ensure timely responses, clear prioritization, and consistent experience for internal clients 
  • Manage the day-to-day contract lifecycle - from intake through execution – across agreement types like NDAs, MSAs, vendor contracts, and more

Legal Operations & Technology

  • Identify, develop, and implement more efficient legal workflows through the use of technology and clearer, simpler processes
  • Own the configuration, day‑to‑day management, and continuous improvement of legal tools, with a focus on adoption, data quality, and reporting
  • Support and expand the use of AI and automation tools to improve contract review efficiency and reduce manual work
  • Track legal department metrics and prepare clear, reliable reporting 
  • Support corporate filings and compliance-related tasks as needed

Supporting the General Counsel & the Broader Business

  • Act as a day‑to‑day operational partner to the General Counsel on legal operations and cross‑functional initiatives

We are looking for

  • Education: Minimum bachelors background exhibiting exceptional communication skills.
  • Experience: Experienced Professional.

Skills

Knowledge: Good to have is candidate with working knowledge of contract lifecycle management, Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Excel, Power Automate).

Skills: Candidate must demonstrate hands-on AI tool proficiency or willingness to learn (Claude, Copilot, or equivalent), strong process design and documentation ability, and clear cross-functional written communication.

Personal Characteristics: The ideal candidate is a self-sufficient builder with an ownership mentality, sound judgment in handling confidential legal matters, and genuine intellectual curiosity about legal technology, automation and AI.

Knowledge of Excel, Outlook and Sharepoint is great.  AI familiarity. Mostly just a diligent work ethic, curiosity for learning, takes direction well, accountability. 


What We're Looking For:
Experience in legal operations, contract management, or a paralegal role

  • Hands-on experience with a contract lifecycle management platform
  • Working knowledge of AI tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot) and how to apply them to legal work
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities reliably
  • A good communicator who can work well with both legal and non-legal colleagues
  • Interested in legal technology and practical ways to improve how work gets done
