Associate Analytics Engineer

Job Description

• Understand project/assignment objectives, execute with great purpose and deliver quality.
• Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and use-cases overall, and in the domain of analytics/reporting specifically.
• Utilize descriptive and predictive analytics to discover new insights, and build data products.
• Create dashboards and pipelines that elegantly represent complex information (Tableau Dashboards, Tableau Flows).
• Create solutions to design, maintain and store data (e.g. Cubes, SQL,ETL Data pipeline design, Python, Apache Airflow, Apache Spark).
• Maintain and support data analytic platforms (Warehouse and SQl & Postrgres Data pipelines).
• Knowledge of analytics techniques such as general linear model, ANOVA, decision trees, linear regression etc.
• Depict understanding of statistical concepts, hypothesis testing & campaign design.
• Depict fundamental understanding of standard predictive and classification models; when to use and how to interpret results.
• Develop and update technical documentation.
• Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting.
• Communicate analysis to stakeholders and executives in verbal, visual, and written media.
• Collaborate with teammates/across team for day to day task.

Education

Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Experimental Psychology, Mathematics, Operational Research, Information Science, Engineering, Statistics

Experience

Fresh to 3+ Years of relevant experience

Skills

• Just starting a professional career, perhaps with a few years of experience
• A storyteller, with a knack for communicating concepts in presentations
• Some experience executing analytics projects
• Excellent SQL, Python, Tableau / Power BI, Excel and PowerPoint Skills
• Good understanding of data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
• You find ways to do things smarter through automation
• Understanding of advance analytical techniques
• Team oriented
• Good to have knowledge of the payments and/or retail banking industry

• Strong logic building & ETL capabilities to extract and transform data. (MySQL, Informix, Postgres SQL)
